Our Beaulieu Clinic Team
Registered Veterinary Nurse
I started work at Spring Lodge as a Veterinary Nursing Assistant in 2013. After two years of hard work I became a Registered Veterinary Nurse in May 2017.
I have a real passion for caring for all types of animals – even the scaly/feathery ones, and you can often find me working at the Witham Hospital during our Out of Hours service at the weekends!
I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1996 in South Africa and worked there until 1998. I came to the UK in 1999 working as a small animal vet and I joined Spring Lodge as a part-time vet in 2007.
My particular interest is for surgical cases and I am usually found in one of the surgical suites at the Witham Hospital. I also help operate at the Chelmsford Centre when required.
Head Nurse (Chelmsford) RVN
I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College with a Foundation Degree in Science with Merit in Veterinary Nursing.
I started working at Spring Lodge in April 2010 and I now help with the Nurses Consultations and client liason.
I hope to complete further qualifications and specialise my nursing career in the future. I have a young, very lively Border Collie and three cats, two of which were feral cats that I have rescued.
Perry BSc (Hons)
I graduated from Glyndwr University in 2014 where my focus was animal behaviour and welfare. Since then I have brought the skills that I have gained into the veterinary world when I joined the Spring Lodge team in 2015.
You can often find me putting these skills to use at one of our regular puppy parties. Since starting at Spring Lodge, I have gained a keen interest in lab work.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, going to the cinema, and looking after my pet budgie, Meraxes.
